Service Description
Fulfill your destiny in your sacred rituals and initiation of our ancestors (Egungun). You will be promoted from Isefa to Itefa through this initiation, it is the sacred journey of self discovery and empowerment. Initiation to Ifá (Itefa), Orisa (Osun, Sango, Oya, Olokun, Ogun, Obatala, Yemaja, Esu, Egbe, etc.), and Egungun (ancestors), are critical steps in understanding your life’s purpose and being equipped with the spiritual tools to realize your life’s potential. You will be led by Hand of Ifa Babalawos and Iyanifas throughout each step of your initiation. You will be introduced to a network of Priests and Priestesses that will forever be on your Ifa journey and life path. In the first month of our journey, you will be supported and immersing yourself in the preparatory rites for Ifá, Orisa, and/or Ancestors initiation. Through four enlightening live virtual classes, you will get into the foundational knowledge of the Ifá tradition, Orisa masterclasses, Egungun practices, and the spiritual readiness required for the profound experiences at our temple in Nigeria. Class 1: The Ifá Creation Story, Life Cycles, and Orisa Cosmology Class 2: Introduction to Orisa and Egungun (Ancestors) Class 3: Introduction to Orisa Festivals and Celebrations Class 4: Preparation for Ifá and Orisa Initiation Class 5: Understanding Ifá Divination Class 6: Rituals and Offerings in Ifá, Orisa, and Egungun Worship Class 7: Ifá and Orisa Healing Practices Class 8: Principles of Ifá Ethics and Morality Our Initiation program includes: 4 Pre-initiation virtual classes Hotel accommodations in Idadan, Nigeria Round the clock food service at our temple in Idadan, Nigeria Airport transfers and ground transportation in Idadan, Nigeria 1 initiation to Ifa, Orisa, or Egungun (you can request to do multiple initiations after your first booking; additional fees will apply) Video footage of your 3-day initiation process 4 Post-initiation virtual classes Please note that Flight prices are NOT included.
