Service Description

An Ebo ceremony in the Ifá religion is a ritual of offering and sacrifice that plays a central role in the spiritual practice. Ebo, which translates to “sacrifice,” involves presenting various offerings to the Orishas—the divine spirits—to seek their favor, restore balance, and bring about positive change.. The ceremony can include a range of offerings, commonly known as “adimu,” which may consist of food items, fruits, or other symbolic materials. In some instances, it may also involve animal offerings, which are conducted with great respect for the life being offered and are often shared within the community afterwards. The process of Ebo is guided by a divination reading (this reading is done first via a previous reading) which determines the specific offerings and actions required to address the individual’s concerns or to thank the Orishas for blessings received. The ritual is approached with humility and self-awareness, acknowledging the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of maintaining harmony with the natural world. Ebo ceremonies are not only about the physical offerings but also about the willingness to make personal sacrifices, such as changing one’s behavior or mindset, to align with the teachings of Ifá and the guidance of the Orishas. Please note: Depending on the outcome of a previously purchased reading, the Ebo may range from $200 to $300.
